Sunrisers Hyderabad is the second team to represent Hyderabad in Indian premier League (IPL), first team was Deccan Chargers which was terminated by the IPL. Chennai Super Kings is the franchise cricket team representing Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chennai Super Kings was suspended for two years (2016 and 2017). Chennai Super Kings was owned by N Srinivasan who is the chairman of the India Cements under the name Chennai Super Kings Cricket Ltd from 2008 to 2017. But in 2017 it has changed its ownership and is now owned by the shareholders of India Cements a trust named Chennai Super Kings Sports Company Limited.

Royals is the franchise cricket team representing Pune, Maharashtra, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Earlier the team was named as Rajashtan Royals from 2008-2017. Rajasthan Royals was suspended for two years (2016 and 2017) and has changed its name to Royals before returning to the IPL 2018. Earlier its base was Jaipur, Rajasthan, when it was calledas Rajashtna Royals. Royals is owned by a group under the name Jaipur IPL Cricket Private Ltd, which is currently owned and headed by Manoj Badale.
